Ergonomic Drafting Chair
The Ergoback Drafting Chair is a fully adjustable 4-lever ergonomic drafting chair / drafting stool. It utilises the same seat pan, backrest, and ergonomic mechanism as our popular ErgoBack and ErgoBack Mesh office chairs, with a higher gaslift and foot ring attached to make them suitable for use at a raised desk.
The standard height range of the ErgoBack Drafting Chair is 63 - 84cm. This can be customised to suit your needs. Please contact us prior to ordering to discuss your needs if this is relevant. (For reference, a gaslift range of 63 - 84cm is typically suitable for the majority of user heights when working from a raised desk height of approximately 90cm).
Importantly, our drafting chair comes with a seat slider mechanism as standard. This means the seat pan depth can be altered to better suit the thigh length of the user. This is particularly important for those working at an elevated workstation due to the fact the feet are not firmly planted on the ground, resulting in increased pressure behind the knees and an increased likelihood the user will lean forward if the seat pan doth is incorrect or uncomfortable.
The ErgoBack drafting chair has a fully adjustable 4-lever mechanism. This means that you can change the seat pan angle and backrest angle independently of one another, helping to ensure you can adjust and position the chair at the preferred angle for your needs.
The ErgoBack Drafting Chair is AFRDI level 6 approved, has a 160kg weight limit and comes with a 7-year manufacturer's warranty.
The Ergoback Drafting chair is available in black fabric seat pan, a black padded fabric or black reinforced mesh backrest, with or with our armrests, and with a black nylon or polished chrome base.

Small - users below 167cm in height
Standard - users above 168cm in height
Each chair comes with a seat slider as standard, so the seat pan can be slid back and forwards to accomodate different height users. We do not offer the seat pan in a large for the drafting chair because users can run into comfort and lower back support issues when sitting at a raised chair if the seat pan is even just a little too deep.
