Office Ergonomics Workshops Melbourne

Ergonomic workshops are our most popular service and are the most effective way to provide your employees with all of the education and knowledge they need to help prevent ergonomic-related pain and discomfort, as well as prevent repetitive strain injuries.

Ergonomic workshops run for approximately 60 minutes and are delivered onsite at your workplace by one of our Physiotherapists who specialise in ergonomics and workplace injury prevention. 

We also provide you with the option to record the session, so that you can share it with all new starters, as well as those who were unable to attend on the day of the workshop. 

We cover the following topics during our ergonomic workshops:

  • Understanding how symptoms develop in the body, and how to stop little niggles from progressing to pain and then injury.
  • Understanding problematic postures that commonly lead to discomfort or pain in sedentary desk-bound workers.
  • Advice on prolonged sitting timeframes to avoid symptom development. 
  • How to set up a seated workstation ergonomically, including a step-by-step guide.
  • How to set up a standing workstation ergonomically, including a step-by-step guide.
  • How to get the most benefit out of a sit-stand desk (only covered if you have sit-stand desks). ​
  • Q & A - a chance for your staff to ask us any questions they have. 

We can also provide you with an ergonomic assessment checklist PDF that your employees can refer back to, to help them set up their workstation perfectly to suit their individual needs. 

​For an ergonomic workshop to be effective, we need access to one of your standard office desks with the usual equipment used by your staff. Access to a whiteboard is also beneficial. 

The cost of an ergonomic workshop is $660 + gst with no recording, and $990 + gst with a recording.
